LEO missions rarely communicate on a single band. TT&C often runs on VHF or UHF, payload downlink on S or X-band. Covering both usually means two separate tracking systems: the parabolic dish on one mount, a second rotor for the VHF/UHF antenna on another. Two systems mean two alignments, two maintenance cycles, and a real risk of pointing mismatch between them during a pass.

The VHF/UHF Antennas Expansion Mounting Support solves this mechanically, not electronically. It is an add-on for INTREPID 300-5 and GS100II, built in fiberglass, RF-transparent and lightweight. It mounts your VHF or UHF antennas in parallel with the 3 meter mesh dish, on the same axis. When GS100II moves, everything moves together: the parabolic dish and the VHF/UHF antennas point at the same satellite, at the same time, with the same tracking accuracy.

A ground station running INTREPID 300-5 for S-band payload downlink can add a VHF or UHF Yagi for TT&C without installing a second tracking system. One motion control system, one pass, both bands covered.
